From television specials, I recall more than one location, right? [even tho of course no one knows yet really]
but anyway, where are they again?
AND HOW MANY CULTURES around the world hold a 'great flood' legend exactly?

Noah's ark has been claimed to be found in a ton of places. None of the claims have ever really withstood scrutiny (source).

There are easily hundreds of flood legends out there. Without our modern technology, any flood with over about a 7 mile radius would look like a 'global flood' to ancient people because it'd reach the horizon.

The bible said that Noah's ark came to rest on Ararat, a mountain in eastern Turkey. Several years ago, one of those pseudo-documentaries was run on television. In the snow, a satellite photo found a small patch of brown, about 3 pixels worth. Then there were striations in rock and snow which they said were the ark. Nonsense.
They also said an expedition found the ark and had photos of it some decades earlier, but some tragedy befell the expedition and all evidence was lost. Darn!
The documentary said we couldn't go and search for the ark because it was in soviet territory. No problem any more, as the Soviet Union no longer exists. Our friend kilroymaster has said the area is under the control of China. What??? China is over 1500 miles away. These mountains are all in Turkey, Iraq, and a couple of tiny former soviet provinces. Maybe he said that because the believers still need to be able to claim we can't go there to look for it.
In fact, there is even a Noah's Ark visitor center. Well, eastern Turkey isn't exactly high on people's vacation itineraries. They have to compete, y'know. You would find, when you get there, that what they now call "Noah's Ark" is a caldera-like rock formation of no significance. Just a hook to get people to go there.

Bottom line: there was no Noah's Ark. There was no world-wide flood. It's biblical myth.

The bible says it landed in the mountains of ararat not the mountain of ararat which would include a few mountains located in what is now Turkey, previously the ottoman empire, previously the Byzantine empire, previously the roman empire, previously land on the outskirts of Grecian colonies, previously Assyrian empire, previously nomadic tribal land.

I believe one is said to be in the middle east, and another is in the Caucasus Mountains. I've heard of another, but I can't think of it now.
