What are your favorites at the fair?

Been to both,and have enjoyed time at them.
The state fairs offer more "big name" entertainment.Where as the county fair has the local flavor to make you feel you are a part of it.
Favorite items include livestock,live entertainment and people watching.

We have a pretty good state fair here in Az. When I was younger, it was all about the rides and food. Now that I am older and have kids, it's less about the rides and more about the people watching. And of course the food. Who can resist the corn dogs?

I'm scared to ride the rides at the fair. Just doesn't seem safe. I really don't like to see some guy that's in charge of cleaning the ride, operating the ride, and maintaining the ride. And most of the guys don't look all that professional, if you know what i mean. I like the funnel cakes.

You can't beat the people watching and all the free stuff.
