You have the rights spelled out in your membership agreement, which may say they can change keys and other security devices only if they first attempt to advise you of the change, so as not to unnecessarily deny your access to facilities you're paying for. There may also be termination rights, such as some refund for prepaid dues if you decide you no longer wish to be a member, but you will have to comply EXACTLY with their requirements (must be in writing or on a particular form, sent to X address, no later than Y days prior to end of month, etc).
You CERTAINLY have the right to speak to management with your concerns, although you may not like the response.

You have the right to change gyms. Any refusal to do so can be used against you. You have the right to stop attending the gym or notify the manager for questioning.
Do you understand the rights I've just read to you?

You have the right to find a new gym. Unless you have something to hide you should have no problem with that kind of security system.

Some claim biometrics are the wave of the future. I would say that, like in the movies, a lot of people are going to come up missing fingers and eyes!
