Commercial Law is the general sense refers to the laws regarding the sale and lease of goods. A course on commercial law will generally focus on the laws regulating the sale and lease of goods through the Uniformed Commercial Code (UCC). The UCC also addresses secured transactions. These are loans or credit transactions in which the lender acquires a security interest in certain collateral owned by the borrower and has the right to foreclose or repossess the collateral in the event of the borrower's default.
Most of what is deemed commercial law though focuses on UCC. Otherwise, general common law or codified (statutory) contract law govern the contracts.
Hope this helps.

Commercial Law: Placed on books to enforce protections of corporation businesses (and their wealthy stockholders) from YOU, their wallet draining target. Clearly unfair laws--they're on the books....what are YOU gonna do about it?? HUH????
Ironically, there are more Commercial LAWS than CONSUMER LAWS.....imagine that.
