Silver back gorilla. He's 2 and the exhibit is designed where the gorilla and the people are standing on the same level, on opposite sides of some glass. And he is amazed at how big and close he is. Add to it that the alpha male actually interacts with him when he sees him, and it curtains to the rest of the day. Thank God the Zoo is free!

When my daughter was a toddler, I took her to a butterfly muesem (my spelling is wrong here, so sorry). IN the area where the butterflies lived there was fish pond filled with Japanese koi, all brilliant colors, swimming. I sat with my daughter for an hour as she watched the fish. This one had a marvelous time.
May it all be well with you.

The monkeys. We have Monkey Village at our zoo. In the Village the little tree monkeys(I believe they are) can climb and jump over your heads in the open. It is cool but my kids never want to leave it.
