ok so i have a bunch of games for basketball from different companies and for whatever reason there is never a micheal jordan. his shoes are used but never him as a player. can someone tell me why?

First of all they are not paying him any money or enough money to be on the game. So why should he endorse something for free and during or in a commerical they show that if you buy this game you can use MJ. That is why you have a create a player button. Would ok someone to make money off your name and you get nothing for it. I rest my case. Some players don't care but when you get to MJ level you can do that.

It's only probably because he didn't sign up to be in the any basketball game so maybe i've heard he might be in nb08 or nba2k7.

I agree that no game has mj in it, but the one that did was nba live 2004 for ps2. You could play as mj on the 90's all-star team. think that he has to agree to be used in the game

He did came out in NBA LIVE 2004, in the legends section, and older games he was called as ''Player # 99'' on the Bulls, but honestly i don't know why he never came out in most games.

MJ never gave them permission to use him in ANY basketball game. I hope he does decide to let someone use him, though.

He signed a contract a long time ago that forbides him to be in the games but i heard he is in nba 2k7, that might not be true.

if u like him so much, you'd know about it...he doesn't want them to use his image...otherwise they'd have a whole set of game series called "Jordan's Flight Camp 07" or sumthin...guess who'd be on the cover???
