I haven't read anything saying such.
His Father was a doctor and he has said in numerous interviews how that made him have a greater respect and understanding of the medical profession. I have even read how he has more difficulty with the American accent on certain medical words rather than the understanding of the medical terms. I would be surprised if he were to change fields.

while that guy is amazing, actor, musician, etc, he probably wont going into being a doctor. first, it takes an absolute humongous amount of time to do it. second, its just not his kind of thing to do, while he is a genius, he just wouldnt be happy with his life.
