All CDs can hold somewhere in the region of 700 - 750 MBs. For more storage you'll need a DVD.

Standard-sized Compact Disks typically hold between 650 to 703 megabytes, depending on the formatting you use and how the CD was manufactured. It is far more common to have 700mb CDs now, but bear in mind that storage capacity is measured as Imb = 1000kb, as opposed to 1mb = 1024kb.

Do you mean a "Red Book" CD? "Red Book" refers to a standard technical definition of CDs regarding how much audio they hold: 74 minutes. It does not define standards on data. That said, a standards compliant CD holds 650 - 703MBs of data.

Of course, many blank disc manufacturers do not follow the standard and it's not too difficult to find CDs that will hold up to 800MBs of data. It's not illegal or anything, so no one cares to "enforce" the official standard.
