usually i have my television on because i don't like the quiet

I lived for ten years in a house with 4 adults, 5 kids, and more animals than anyone could count. 2 TVs, 2 radios, a video game going day and night, and a telephone that never quit. Then I moved off on my own and I have to have a radio. Go figure.

This one is severely hearing impaired and welcomes any noise as delightful, especially if it is loud enough to hear without head phones and without disturbing others.

My brother playing wrestle palms..(Gun taking pictures noises) hamster chewing cage aside guinea pigs screaming me whining approximately how warm those cheetos are my brother screaming BOB SAGET!! while he loses. incredibly lame..huh? xD

I always need background noise... otherwise my brain would overload and my head would explode - not a pretty sight! ;-)
