Her claim is that she got her experience in her husbands administration so let's look
She burst onto the national stage with two tasks in her husband’s administration: The selection of the nation’s first female Attorney General and the design and adoption of a comprehensive program of health care reform. Her efforts to designate an Attorney General hamstrung the new Administration for months as two nominees, in succession, had to withdraw their names from consideration. Finally, at the eleventh hour, she urged her husband to appoint Florida’s Janet Reno, a selection Bill Clinton would come to describe as “my worst mistake.”
She suggested the appointment of Lani Guanier as head of the civil rights division, a job she was shortly forced to relinquish when her radical views became known. Her other selections for the Justice Department, the White House staff and the Treasury were her three law partners: Web Hubbell, Vince Foster, and William Kennedy, appointments which culminated in one imprisonment, one suicide, and one forced resignation.
Her other assignment, health care reform, collapsed in such a debacle that it cost her party control of both houses of Congress, a fate from which it took twelve years to recover.
Her main focus in the Administration was scandal defense. From Jennifer Flowers to Whitewater to the FBI file affair to the travel office firings to her Commodities Market winnings to the missing Rose Law Firm billing records to the Paula Jones scandal, she orchestrated the Administration's defense against scandal allegations. In the process, she almost got herself indicted for perjury and obstruction of justice.
Hillary who counseled Bill not to settle the Paula Jones lawsuit even when the plaintiffs called for neither an apology nor payment
She stonewalled the release of Whitewater documents even when it led to the appointment of a special prosecutor.
She did not participate in the formulation of a balanced budget, nor in welfare reform legislation, nor in the reduction of crime that stemmed from the 1994 anti-crime bill.
The pardon of the FALN terrorists to get Latino support in New York, that of the New Square Hassidim to get Hillary Jewish support, and the clemency shown toward Hillary's brothers' clients to get them financial support caused her ratings to plunge to their lowest level in March of 2001 as she took her Senate seat. The theft of White House gifts, almost $200,000 of which had to be returned, did nothing to endear her to the electorate.
Hillary has done nothing of note in the Senate except to vote for the Iraq War, a position she has since disavowed, and to win the applause of her colleagues for not being partisan and obstinate.
Her main efforts have been directed at raising massive sums of money for herself and her colleagues and making a lot writing and selling her memoirs. Her efforts on behalf of New York after 9-11 have been exposed as largely derivative of those of her colleague, the more effective Chuck Schumer.
She has passed no important legislation, except for twenty bills renaming post offices and courthouses and congratulating Alexander Hamilton, Shirley Chisolm, Harriet Tubman, the American Republic, and the Syracuse men's and women's Lacrosse team on their respective accomplishments.
You tell me, what are her credentials ?

Her abilities are in question. She got the jobs she did because of Bill Clinton arm twisting. Here is an assessment by a foreign relations expert of Hillary's diplomatic experience:
"Clinton’s obsession with regime change, especially in Syria, is an extension of her irrational fear of Iran. The conflict in Syria has proven to not be one of democracy versus a dictator, but rather, foreign influence over a legitimate state. The downfall of Syria would ultimately mean the growth of radical Islam which has been a trademark of the Clinton legacy. Hillary Clinton is not a diplomat; she is a bloodthirsty and deranged woman with no respect for human rights and a true exemplar of corruption."

One correction, she is not a first term senator, but a second term senator, and she was re-elected this time around with a 67% majority.
She has many, many credentials, stretching back into her college experiences and interests long before she ever met Bill Clinton to the more pertinent ones of current day. I won't post her qualifications here, they really are very long, as well as impressive. But I suspect that isn't what you are looking for. If I am wrong, please email me and I will be happy to send them to you.
I think Sen. Clinton is the best candidate we have for President right now, and I'm not a Democrat so I do a lot of research before I endorse candidates. I am so sure about her qualifications and capabilities for the job that I have been working on her campaign. That is something I've never done for any Presidential candidate. I hope you will seriously look into her qualifications and give her a chance to prove herself to you in the coming months of campaigning.

Hillary was the former Head of the State Department dujring which time four prominant americans lost their lives at the embassy in Bengazi. They lost their lives because the State Department refused supply the additional security support requested by the embassy on at least four occasions. What ever happened to the buck stops here? If she can't handle supporting one embassy, who in their right mind would put her in charge of the whole country? It would seem more apropos to charge her with manslaughter.

You do know you could use the same question for Bush jr. People can argue that one from both sides but the truth is he wasnt that much experienced when he ran.
and NO I do not support Hillary. I didnt think Bills deeds were such a big deal but I do think someone willing to overlook it and stay married to the guy shows much for a willingness to stand up for whats right. What would she do if there were real hard choices to make IF she was put into office? I would hold Hillary in much better light if she divorced him......

Actually Hillary Clinton has been elected 2 times, not just once.
I think the fact that she was a very involved First Lady is credentials enough. On top of that, she will have her husband backing her up. The US made many strides when he was president. If we can even do 1/2 as good with Hillary in charge, we will be doing 3 times better then we are with the joke we have leading us now.

She is very experienced, unfortunately she is a life long Demlican who believes in taxes even though she knows that our tax dollars are wasted on Oh God anything. Our government isn't frugal on anything and hers and the Republicrats congress our a joke not doing the peoples work. I will co mend her for her attempt to reform health care, but I cannot trust the Demlicans and the Republicrats with mine or your money. The Republicrats will win again if she is the best the Demlicans have to offer.

The question is relative.
George W. Bush had NO experience at the National level. He was coming off his FIRST political job, as FIGUREHEAD governor of Texas.
And let's compare her to Lincoln. He served a little in the Illinois State legislature, then one and oNLY one term in the US House of Representatives. He lost a race for Senate in 1858.
So, relatively speaking, in her second term as Senator, she is experienced.

She's been elected twice. Senators serve six-year terms, and she was elected in 2000. She's a Class I Senator, so her term expires in 2013, unless she becomes President.
And yes, I do believe she is experienced enough.

She is only experienced at cheating, lying, stealing and murdering (remember Vince Foster?) The woman should be in an orange jumpsuit, and behind bars. Anyone who votes for her is a complete nut case.
