I'm having two boys and one girl and I'm going to name them:
Merrick Pierce
Quiten Leonard
and
Tallon Eve
Pierce is my husband's name. Leonard is my dad's name and Eve is my mom's name.
Merrick (mare-ick)
Quiten (key-ten)
Tallon (tal-on, like a claw on an eagle)
I want my children to have different, but not weird names? I know it's ultimately my dicision, but what do you think?
***Any suggestions are welcome. I want different but not weird, like I said before. And i like kind of "edgey" names, if you get my drift......

I actually love Tallon but I have a friend with a little boy named Tallon not a girl, but its unisex so it works I like the other 2 just fine but if you are going for different thats fine but they will be regularly mispronounced. My list of names goes
Carrigyn Christine
Bradleigh Nikol
Elayne Elissa
Taylar Shae
and for boys...
Kayne Takeo
Maison Mikol
Jaxyn Tanner
Damren Tyler
ectectect...
All spelling subjectable to change and all names interchangable.
But like you said your choice and like I said I don't hate the names just throwing some out at ya!

The names might be "edgy" to you, but think 35 years down the line and they are in corporate America. Will their names afford them the opportunities for promotions, raises, etc?. Think about that when you are choosing first names. The middle anmes are fine and have family signifigance, so go with them, but do think again about the first names. I know many people now, including stars, want their children's names to be different, but studies by sociologists and psychologists have shown that shildren with "edgy" names do not alwys do as well in school and in the corporate world because there are preconceived ideas about them based on their names. There are so many names out there. IT IS YOUR CHOICE AND NO ONE ELSE'S, but think ahead to their adult life. How will their names impact them then?
Everyone wants their children to be liked by other children, teachers, other adults...and a name like Tallon might shape your child's personality and therefore life towards aggression and she might be treated differently even before someone gets to know her, just based upon the name written on the paper. Quiten might never be given a chance for a job, even though brilliant, because when people look at the name they might think or see "Quitter." Remember also that other children are very cruel when someone has a "different/strange" name and tease them. Do you want that for your children? I'm not saying to take the "most popular names of the year," but at least think about whether you would want to be known forever by the names you are planning for your children.
Good luck and best of everything to you and your children.

You asked the same question yesterday.
Same answer:
Pierce; Eve are good ; even Leonard is better then Quiten; Tallon; Merrick.
Please, seriously think of what impact those names will have on your childrens lives...they will be the bain of their existence.
It's great to want your kids to be different but long after you and your husband are gone these people will have to live with your choice.

I like the ones you have picked but I would spell quiten different. For two reasons when he is in school people will always pronounce it wrong at first and that might be frustrating.(quit-en) Also I think and this might sound weird but it is what I think, you name makes up a little of your personality and having "quit" be apart of you name is just weird to me. I am preggo with #3 and I know she will be a girl and even though we don't have a first name yet her middle name will be "eve" just like my other 2 girls, and myself and my Mother. Our last name is Duncan, so I don't want any names that begin with a "D", simply because her initials would be D E D and that is weird.
My other two Daughters names are Ander and Tessa. I also like the names, Calin,Rossi and Seren

Merrick is ok, Quiten will go by his middle name because nobody will correctly pronounce it or spell it correctly and Tallon just doesn't strike me as a nice girl's name. It sounds like a name you give a busty adventure woman in a comic book. I hate to tell you that these are weird, not just different. However, if that is what you like, go for it.

I like the names except the girl's name. I would think it a boys name. With two other boys I would think you would want a more female name for her
Eva Marinniah
Eve Savanah
Evie June
Tally Eve
Lonnie Eve
Lily Eve
Eva Marisah
Concerning Quiten.....people wil call him Quinton
Why not spell it Keyten
With three little ones you don't want to be constantly explaining how to say the name and which name is the girl name

I really like those names. I seriously doubt that those kids will be beat up because of their names. I mean, please. Besides, people will get used to them. Anyway, GREAT names. Merrick, Quiten, and Tallon. Nice... There are too many people with boring names nowadays. Everyone's going on about how they don't like Quiten, but when you say it out loud, it sounds excellent. Same with the others.
By the way, CONGRATULATIONS!!

I think Merrick Pierce is a good, strong name.
Quiten Leonard. Great name, but I would prefer the spelling Keyton or Cayton. Your spelling looks more like "quit-in"
Tallon Eve is cute. Tallyn could be a possible spelling alteration that would be more feminine.
Merrick, Cayton, and Tallon all go well together, and I love how you incorporated family names into their names...which is always very special :)
