YES! We have a franchise operation in Cincinnati called Penn Station that makes them. They're authentic, they're delicious, they're fattening and they are addictive.
They are made to order, so if you don't want onions, you can opt out.
They also have fresh cut french fries and home brewed lemonade made from real lemons.
If you live within a hundred miles of Cincinnati, you should make a trip just for the cheesesteaks. If you're driving through, you should stop and find a store.
I would mail one to you, but I don't think that they would travel well.

I used to eat Steakum sandwhiches back when they advertised on MTV's Remote Control in the 1990's.
