I'm going to a water park this Saturday. I don't really need makeup, as I look good without it, it's just that I usually wear it and people will notice if I don't. I only have a few zits so that's not much of a problem. But if I wear mascara it falls off and makes me look like a raccoon. But waterproof mascara only drips down my face before I even get in the water. What do I do?

Since you're going to a water park and even waterproof mascara tends to run down your face, go ahead and skip the makeup. It's going to come off anyway.
People that are around you a lot might notice, but you said you look good without it, and if they're good friends of yours they're not going to care that you're not wearing makeup. If they do, they're not your friends.

Just seems like a waste to me... the use of the makeup that you could use some other time (makeup's expenseive!), the time putting it on, and the time you're going to take to clean it up afterward.

I've been in the same situation (I went to a regular theme park) but I came across this test Sephora did on waterproof makeup:

I bought the Diorshow waterproof mascara and it worked well for me - a lot of waterproof makeup runs for me too. Designer makeup is pricey but often worth the money. If you want to be sure it works well for you before spending, just go into a Sephora store and try it on. There's a display with different waterproof mascaras and you can ask the workers for help too. Just don't get suckered into buying anything you're unsure of. Good luck!

Don't worry so much about it, everyone's going to be in the same situation, so they'll understand.
Wait til your waterproof mascara dries before you go in the water, or try Maybelline if you don't use it already... it definitely shouldn't do that. And if you only use mascara and coverup like me, it's not even a big difference between that and not wearing makeup. I use Revlon ColorStay Liquid foundation, and it stays on even in the water! So you could try that!

Waterproof mascara may work, but at times it doesn't. A liitle eyeliner will do fine, just not a thick application because then it will go down your eyes making you look dead (that's not good). I would use waterproof mascara, but in a light coat. That way if it does run, it's not bad.

i suggest using waterproof mascara thats made by covergirl thats the best company i know of too or if any of these answers dont work try wearing something else that looks like mascara and make your eye part of your face beautiful!!

well you really want to wear waterproof mascara and maybe light eye liner. but it not like everyones going to be looking at u underwater cause u dont have enough make up on

well .. i dont think you should wear make up..even if people do notice..you shouldnt really care what they think =] .. however..if u really dont like the way u look without your make up then go waterproof..be sure to get a good brand =]

waterproof mascara , works for me :) just buy a good brand :P and yes, im obsessive wit make upp :)

waterproof makeup from loreal is gud- and eyeliner that looks a little smuged is sexy anyways- dont even get waterproof!
