According to 'het Groot woordenboek der Nederlandse Taal' by 'van Dale' eclatant is 'groot' or 'schitterent'.
In English it would be an 'overwhelming' success.
When I googled on Eclatante I found it used in many names, but I did not find any that was used more that others.
So if you are looking for someone using eclatante in the name, google it yourself.

litteraly, it means "bursting".
when someone in french "éclat de rire", it means he bursts out in laughter. "un rire éclatant" would then be a very warm, spontanious, contagious laughter
