He's trying to make daddy proud. Daddy went there too and failed. It's not about win or lose. We should never have gone to begin with. It's his own personal agenda. It's not affecting his life. His family isn't over there dying for his selfish war. He's making money off of it. So why would he back out now?

I just like some people's "optimism"...
Well guess as long as there is oil in Iraq he will keep "fighting" no matter how many innocent Iraqis will have to die for it...Unfortunately this is a lost war and there is nothing to do to win it...We all understood that the reason for which Bush attacked Iraq were not the WMD's nor his "love" for the Iraqis or his will to set them free...It was all about money and greed...

We are winning, it's the biased liberal media that paints this gloomy picture over what is going to be a victory for the Americans and Britain's and all the other countries that are fighting terrorists.

Civilian deaths are down 36%...why haven't I heard this on the nightly news?

Imagine the state of and the potential harm to America by the terrorists of the Middle East if the US was NOT over there fighting..............

Because Bush is the last man who will stand up and publicly admit defeat.

No sitting President in US history has never been able to go before the country and say, "I'm sorry."

It's political suicide.

The country as a whole may not be winning, but the weapons industry is reaping a fortune out of this whole mess. And guess who is top dog for the weapons industry? You guessed it, ole GWB himself......

He is a chicken hawk that is out of touch with the hell for our soldiers on the ground. He wont give up because he will loose face. That is more important than saving lives.

And i will expand upon what rightfielder said. you may ask, why does the media paint such a gloomy picture? well the simple answer is, bad news sells... there is no such thing as fair and BALANCED news....
