Oh I daydream all the time....usually it's like a hypothetical dream about stuff I want to happen, I'm also a writer and sometimes my mind will come up with a story plot or lines to poetry when I'm supposed to be doing something else.

Yes, I do. I daydream about friends, family, and the good times I have had in my life.

i day dream a lot about the guys i used to be in love with when i was 22 years old, about the future, about what it would be like if i'd achive my dream of being an entertainer, what it would be like to work and be happy all the time.
i daydream about what it would feel like to reach my goal.
i daydream about the people i have met and will probably never meet again.
i am sad......

When I am listening to a great song I daydream I could perform it as well as the artist and jam it in a club!

Okay - most recent daydream pretty much as it happened. Note that it starts from a plotline in Shadowman (a book by John Katzenbach) but wanders off.
And this feels so weird...
Bunch of NYPD finest in a shabby hallway. Old black lady lets them into her apartment and says:
'What - it takes all of you to explain that my son died 'resisting arrest?''
They all look at each other and one of them says, 'Ma-am, that's not why we're here. I have nothing to say about how your son lived his life, but he died a hero. He died saving our colleagues.'
Okay - I think that's as far as I can get, although it often wanders off to where her son has saved, not just a couple of police, but the Whole City. Not that there's anything inherently embarassing in there (is a wish for redemption and mutual respect inherently embarassing? Maybe it's how schlocky & sentimental I am at heart...) but, you know, soft underbelly....

Everybody who achieves their goals has daydreamed. Those who have no goals are actually subject to fulfilling other people's daydreams.
(Before achieving one must first preconceive and then conceive ... visualize ... daydream).
But in contrast ... of course we have the aimless ADD daydreamers. (it is a smart-alec joke folks, no need to take offense!)

yeah! We all do. The thing is to stop such daydreaming at some point and take things to action. Otherwise, you lose loads of time and never accomplish anything!
