Ummm nothing!! I put a bowl in the microwave once and it made a huge zap noise and flashed a bit because it had "gold" coating around the outside bits. That was scary enough for me.
Generally the reason they tell you not to put bad things in the microwave isn't because your microwave will get ruined, but because it's a tad dangerous.

Heat up some water for a short while and see if it gets warm. Make sure the dish is microwave safe and has no metal parts.
