I don't think there is a limit if you really want something. You will always be pushing the boundaries until you are satisfied that your dream has come true.

No one is ever "completely satisfied." When one accomplishes one dream or ambition, there is something else that one may discover to be worth having but not yet fully achieved or realized. It's a never-ending drive to accumulate more and more till one's dying days. It's called human nature.

Most dreams relate back to the human fears of being alone, rejection, abandonment and things of this category.

With fame you would be loved.
With wealth you would be loved.
With beauty you would be loved.

And if you are loved, you would never be alone. A fearful species indeed.
