Human stomachs aren't designed for digesting the high fiber content of clovers. Nibbling one or two won't do you any harm, and clover tea is fine. But eating a meal of clovers will give you a bellyache and perhaps worse. Plus, since you won't be able to digest it properly, you won't get much nutritional benefit from the meal.

No, not unless it had chemicals from lawn treatment on it.
It is in the legume family like peas.
Now a Four leaf clover is a different story! If you eat just one 9 to 12 year old children start to chase you world wide because they think you are MAGICALLY DELICIOUS!

Why did you eat them? were you hungry or just ?? what?? Do they have any flavor? But I don't think they will hurt you unless you pig out on them. they are not made for human consumption. At least I don't think they are.
