They'd be just as insufferable if they'd won. They are perpetuallly disgruntled.

I am a conservative and I'm not bitter at all. In fact quite the contrary. The democratic sweep allowed the public to see how "wonderful" they are at running the country. Approval rating at 14%, lower than Bush. This can only help us in the upcoming Presidential elections. By the way: The dems only did so well because we conservatives needed (and succeeded) to send a message to our elected officials in DC.

Ayaman Al Zawahri is not bitter though
Al Qaeda Sends a Message to Democrats
December 22, 2006 2:28 PM
Brian Ross and Hoda Osman Report:
Al Qaeda has sent a message to leaders of the Democratic party that credit for the defeat of congressional Republicans belongs to the terrorists.
December 22, 2006 2:28 PM
In a portion of the tape from al Qaeda No. 2 man, Ayman al Zawahri, made available only today, Zawahri says he has two messages for American Democrats.
"The first is that you aren't the ones who won the midterm elections, nor are the Republicans the ones who lost. Rather, the Mujahideen -- the Muslim Ummah's vanguard in Afghanistan and Iraq -- are the ones who won, and the American forces and their Crusader allies are the ones
Zawahri calls on the Democrats to negotiate with him and Osama bin Laden, not others in the Islamic world who Zawahri says cannot help.
"And if you don't refrain from the foolish American policy of backing Israel, occupying the lands of Islam and stealing the treasures of the Muslims, then await the same fate," he said.

Bitter is not the right word. Conservatives hope the people involved have learned their lesson and will start acting like conservatives and running for election like conservatives. This was true even before the election. Looks like it is not going to work. Conservatives know right from wrong and lying is wrong. It is liberals who see shades of gray and think lying is all right. If you think a conservative is lying, you better check to see if you have been propagandized so badly that you cannot recognize the truth. On the other hand, there are plenty of nutty conservatives.

The "Cons" are bitter over the mid terms and the "libs" are bitter over the 2000 and 2004 elections. Maybe the "mids" should turn to third parties and put all the bitterness behind us.

When are we going to stop trying to spite one another and join against what we see wrong in both sides of congress. We are the people and we should be running our government instead of our government running us.
I was hoping the last fist fight we had over illegal immigration was bring Americans together and we would continue to voice (demand) our government hear us and act accordingly.
Can we quit acting like children? It brings back memories of the last time I watched congress at work.

It's your perverted sense of reality. Just listen to Air America radio sometime if you want to hear hateful lies. You are part of the problem, not the solution, in this country by spreading such hogwash. Cut that crap out, get educated and grow up, dude!
