What does everyone look for or want in a store? I'm trying to get some input on how customers think and what they want and what they expect from a store? Any ideas? I'm looking for something orginal not the typical gas station,conveince store set up, I need something that will bring people back, and say to themselves "Man thats a great store I'm going to come back again and again. It would help vey much if anyone could give me some sort of idea.

What you do is find a store that has been open for about 20 years or more, then sell exactly what they sell.
Chances are that after 20 years of running a store they know exactly what they are doing so you can cash on their experience.
Even better, go to 20 of these stores and check them all out, then when you have a good idea of what you should sell, get a sign up and start trading.
but make sure you spell it properly this time :)

Other than hanging out in a store that is run buy an Indian and watching his tactics, I would work out a secure way you could let people pump first / pay inside. Make sure you have Barks diet and non diet root beer in the fountain drinks selection. Make sure that no one has to stand in a line at the regester / have two

Okay, what do I like in a store?
I like electronics, video games, role-playing equipment, martial arts equipment, books (mostly zombie novels and self-help books), and music.
Hmm, how about a convenience store that caters to nerds?
Or maybe you could have your store be for truckers (as many are), and feature mp3 stuff, like a computer terminal rigged up so they can download songs right there... and pay-to-play wifi access... or maybe a trucker brothel? I hear the road gets lonely...
Maybe you could make your gas station a solar station, to charge electric cars. Bet there aren't a lot of those.
Hope my ideas aren't as bad as I think they are.

Bait, I hate going to them and they don't even have worms let alone herring. I only go in for bait and beer or maybe a soft drink and corn dog. I normally pay at the pump so unless I need something I don't go in.
