oh god yes i believe it is. well, i take that back. love happens, but i dont think that love can last forever like we all hope. unconditional love is something that only parents can have for their children. other than that, it happens. the scam is that it doesnt last.

Bunny,
it sure seems like it sometimes. I could tell you some stories about lost Love that would make your ears perk up.
When you meet people and you feel an attraction, it always doesn't turn out like you dream it would. You see, the Love part is in your own mind and heart and those we fall in Love with, are putting on their best behavior at first. It make you wonder what you are doing wrong when you give of yourself whole heartedly and try to respect and honor a mate, treating them like a treasure and they look off to the hills and cheat on you.
Some people just want their cake and eat it too. Some people just have a hard time finding Love. Truth is, Love finds you. The only true unconditional Love is the love of God, but people have a hard time holding onto imagination. That nice warm body can sure make you feel Loved on a cold windy night when you are snuggled up to a fireplace sipping a glass of wine and listening to some soft music. Oh the romantic type I see you are. Nothing wrong with that. My favorite. Trying to find someone loyal and committed; now that is the quest. Now let me tell you that Love takes many forms and can as you know be a big let down if you loose it or don't have it. Loving yourself and being able to be alone with yourself is a good thing. Then when Love comes along, you will not be so needy. You don't know what you have until you loose it and sometimes that is a very good thing when you do loose it.
No, Love is not a miserable lie. It will come when you least expect it. If it does not last, count your blessings and except the experience as lessons. If it does not come at all then you were not meant to be with anyone this time around. Be glad of that. Better to be alone and happy , than to be with someone who will hurt you or make you miserable.

No, love is not a miserable lie, it make appear that way but it is not. People often confuse the feeling of heavy infatuation with love.

No. It's not a miserable lie. Love , in fact has lost its meaning. It is used for everything: "I love you" I love my dog" "I just love my car" " I love my parents" " I love banana splits" etc/

I think love is something you must believe in to really achieve. It's a lie only if you're lying
to yourself. Be careful who you let into your heart!
