Only to find out that the spare's also busted?

Even better... had a flat tire and found out the spare tire was designed for a different vehicle and wouldn't even fit.

Sure haven't. I've had to change a flat tire, but the spare was fine. I've had flat tires since then, and instead of bothering with changing it, I use a can of Fix-a-Flat. Works well!

Well the first time, and hopefully last, that I had to change a tyre, I had absolutely no clue.. :)
Though my spare was in good shape (it was brand new) I had to ask for help but noone would stop..It was freezing cold 4am, I was in a central avenue, it was the 3rd of January... :S I had to stop a taxi driver pretending I needed him to take me someplace :)
To my bad luck all the studly handsome guys that know how to change a car-tyre where out of town... :):)

I have had to change a tire, and that is such a drag that I can't imagine how infuriating it would be to have a bum spare on hand. That would send me right over the screaming edge of insanity, I'm sure!
(Like most fancy boys, I really don't like mechanical things like that....)

Yeah, a hundred miles from nowhere in Baja California. The spare was flat, but not punctured. Pumped it up enough with a bicycle pump to get us to town.

Nope I always checked my spare often to make sure it is in good shape.

I never changed a tire and I dont even like putting gas in my car its so annoying!

yeppers and then all of a sudden the jack slides on the snow packed road and the car lands on it.... lol
