Has any one used Prosper a Lending money to other people and earn interest?

Has anyone had any used the service?Sounds to good to be true.

I signed up to be a lender a little over a year ago.

I invested a small amount - $1000.

Unfortunately, I got a little greedy seeing the interest rates that people were offering and my portfolio was too risky.

One thing to remember: People with bad credit have bad credit for a reason. They don't pay their bills!

So far, I have made a little bit of money and I will probably invest more later. Overall, Prosper is a good concept but be carefull.
