Nope! Timothy hay is very good for your rabbit and should be avialable to him/her all the time. Alfalfa hay is also healthy but should be given in limited amounts because it contains excess amounts of some minerals that may cause digestive problems. In general your rabbits diet should consist largely of hay and be supplemented by greens and pellets.

Hay is not to fattening for rabbits as long as its Timothy hay; You need to feed them Timothy hay free choice it isn't going to hurt them it is actually very good for them, with out their hay it could lead to a lot of health problems for the rabbit.

NO! A good grass hay like Timothy should be the main part of the rabbits diet. The only amount of pellets they should get is about 1/4 of a cup for every 5 lbs. of rabbit weight. Adult rabbits should not get Alfalfa hay--it is too high in protein and calcium and will lead to health problems.

No hay is a natural food for a rabbit, even better then pellets. In the wild they would eat grass and other plants. Too much treat veggies and fruit will cause weight problems though.

An adult rabbits diet should mainly be timothy hay, with pellets on the side.

To answer your question, no.

Rabbits don't need, and can hardly handle anything else. Wet food can kill a rabbit, especially if it's under 6 months old.

No, hay is actually necessary in keeping a rabbit healthy. Make sure it is Timothy hay. Alfalfa is too rich and is not healthy for adult rabbits. It can be fed in small amounts to sick, old, pregnant, nursing, or baby rabbits.
