Amp'd mobile has it with rate plans only. I am aware that the phone is free or reduced with Verizon contract. Repeat, no contract. I want it for my teen.

Yeah currently the only prepaid company that has the Motorola Q is Amp Mobile. Recent news stated that Ampd Mobile has filed for bankruptcy Chapter 11 due to low revenues and number of customers. They are have closed several call centers and stores in most states. I heard also they have huge problems with their billing department and customers have complained about their billing statements.
Other than this there are no cell phone providers that has the Motorola Q without a contract. Sprint and Verizon offer this phone but with a contract only.
