Love storms more than ANY weather, and the last time the electric went out, I waited for the storm to pass, stuck on my ipod, and danced with abandon, all over my bloody front yard, not giving a crap who saw me! teehee!

I love thunderstorms and I don't mind if the power goes off, as long as it isn't days before it comes back on. Like when we had that huge black-out surge a few years back. It was ok at first and than it just turned sour...it was about a week before we had power turned back on in our area.

haha Amen!
I used to love it when I was a kid and the power would go out in a storm. My room had the perfect viewing spot where I could see all the lightning perfectly.
But sadly, we moved to a house with underground powerlines and we almost never lose power: and the trees cover all the lightning and everything.

As long as it don't last real long, because if it's really hot out it will be hot inside, and you have to worry about food defrosting if it is a really long time, but other than that , I love thunderstorms, especially if you are alone with your special someone!!!!!!!!!!!!!

lol yes, I do like it. Gives me time to get to hang with the family, sit outside, or at night, light a billion candles and feel good cause I look good in candlelight.

Yeah I like that. It's nice and peaceful/tranquil. I just don't like the after-effects....resetting all the digital clocks, having to wait for the computer to reboot, etc.

NO! I live alone so there isn't anyone to tell stories with. My cats, but they don't reciprocate. That's ok though, we hardly ever get t-storms out here, just snow.

Nope, hate when that happens. I have a lot of oil lamps around because it happens a lot where I live.
