That depends on why you're a virgin. Being 23 and a virgin doesn't necessarily make you a loser, but then again, you've given us no details whatsoever, so you might be a loser despite being 23 and a virgin. Who's to say....

You're not a loser, however that question seems more or less a way to grab attention to yourself. What happens when you meet "the one" or the person you think is your "soul mate" and you wait till that oh so special night after your vows have been spoken and you've committed yourself to one another to realize that physically you both don't click. Sex is not something that one just throws, or should just throw around. It's a way of, not in a slutty way, experimenting with people you feel are your significant other. If I had an amazing emotional relationship with a woman and found out that together physically we just couldn't connect; the intimacy would die soon thereafter. You're definitely not a loser, but just know that if and when you do come across the one you want to keep forever, make sure that you're not holding to that special card for moral religious reasons because you've been brought up that way. Don't let your relationship fall apart because you tried to do what your parents said was "right."

The way you frame your question, you imply an answer, and it's the wrong answer.

Don't have sex until you are emotionally ready.

Don't have sex until you know about safe sex and actually own condoms.

If you are happy not having sex until marriage, by all means, keep your principles. I wouldn't recommend this for practical reasons, but I'm not going to tank on someone's religion.

Sometimes, you just haven't had a chance to find someone. Go to a big college. Sex is what people do there.

Most people find spouses at school, work, or church. If you aren't attending any of these, your only option is the bar, which is tedious (drunk hicks and drunk chicks suck).

No your not! I know a lot of people that are 23, 24, 25 year old virgins. Hey, my mom was 38.

No, you are not a loser! If you are a loser, you're in very good company because I am 23 years old and never lost my virginity. Obviously the fact that you chose to perserve your virginity is because you are a product of good upbringing, have character, and want to wait for that very special someone to come into your life. And if you are like me you prefer to establish and better your life before aimlessly desiring pleasure (I am an M.D. candidate take it from me).

You are a loser if you will be virgin at 50 year old. You have time!

no you are not but then if you think you are a loser because of your age then you are a loser. Losing virginity just for the hell of it or by a peer pressure is plain wrong. Meet someone special, then do the horizontal tango. Next morning you wont regret it

No, I don't believe you are a loser for being a 23 year old virgin.

I am a 28 year old virgin and I KNOW I am not a loser. Desiring not to want to place myself at risk of pregnancy, or not being able to carry my baby full term without risk to my health or without transmitting an STD, is a good thing, and so is wanting to be shown by a man that I am worth waiting for. Besides, I do not want to have sex until my wedding night. As far as health issues, I have a few already, due to a condition I was born with. I do not need or want any more health issues. No, thank you. I cope and deal with enough, in my opinion.
