Blaire is a girls name although it might work for a boy Blake for a boy would be better though if your thinking along the same lines as Blaire

if it is a girl give her a definatly femine middle name. And if it a boy gave it a definate male middle name, so that there is no one to question........hmmmmmm boy or girl?

You will find that they both pertain to a male.

However mom's and dad's have been known to name their daughters Blaire as well.

I think socially it is acceptable to name a female or male child Blair or Blaire

I think it's really awesome. I know a boy & a girl with that name and it's very cool. I also know someone with it as a middle name.
