I would love to have a green burial but I will most likely be cremated. I feel that will be easiest for those that have to actually execute the plan. While I like the idea behind green burial, in the end...will I be there to enjoy it? Not. There is a newer method where you can be turned into compost and then buried with a new tree...beautiful idea. The company, Promessa, is in Sweden though. Or, you could be turned into a diamond...there is a thought. It starts out at about 5K for the smaller stones. There are lots of options now that the traditional ceremonies are falling out of favor.

Cremated and scattered over somewhere peaceful, but not on a windy day. Imagine how gross if the ashes flew downwind and some poor soul inhaled them!

I want to be cremated, but only after all of my useable organs were donated to other people.

when my mom died suddenly last year at only 64...5 days before my son was born....she wanted to be creamated and we put half her ashes in the ground in a big urn and half in a small urn in my house..I was very close to my mother and so was my 9 yr old daughter so i feel that she is with me cause some of her ashes are in my house. In the beginning, I was scared to walk by the urn but i think it was just the fresh feeling of her suddenly dieing now i "look" at her every morning and night. My dad when he dies is gonna be creamated so i belive i am going to do the same....something about bugs around my dead body disgusts me!!! people say they can't get in the casket, but i think they could somehow.

I want to be cremated. I've paid sooo long on my life insurance...I want the bulk of it to go to my daughter. I told her she could sell my body to science...then she'll get it all. LOL
I also don't want her tied to a cemetary plot.
