It's obvious this thing around my finger is a ring. I just don't understand. I have 4 kids all under 8 years old and if I'm out with them without my wife, I feel like a 21 year old girl that just walked into a truck stop biker bar.... I'm serious too.
Even when we went out to buy a Mother's day card I thought I would never leave the card isle...
Just wondering why this happens.
My wife says that they find me "hot".
Well this is me and I don't think I'm ugly but not "hot".

Tell me about it. Did you ever see the episode of Seinfeld when George Kastanza conducting a sociological experiment by wearing his friends wedding ring? All throughout the episode he had these hot chicks hitting him. Without the wedding band he could hardly get a women to look at him, however, with the band it was just the opposite. Looks like there may be some truth to the whole people always wanting things that they seemingly can't have. You also have to remember that women are devious. By flirting with you in front of your kids they could be trying to get in trouble. Always remember to keep your guards up. Peace and God bless.

How big is Cedar Hill, Texas? It sounds pretty small. Maybe there are some desperate girls there who are looking for excitement where ever they can find it. Don't get me wrong. You're a nice looking guy. But, I live in Houston and there are a lot of smoking hot guys ( and girls, too) but we sure as hell don't hit on each other in a card shop!!!
By the way, with four kids , why do you put yourself out there as single? .

Well you are a clean cut ..all American looking guy. However I just want to ask why you say you are married with kids here and on your my space page you are saying you are single????
Anyway...You don't look overweight and you seem to dress well and all...these days women are 'liberated' where before it was the guy who went after the girl ....remember when you were not married it did not stop you from looking at or perhaps smiling at the hot girls who were obviously with their kids out at the mall or park? well its the same for them now.
Society and religion tells us that we should only have eyes for the one we are married to. However in reality humans are a predatory species by nature, we hunt, we kill, and we go after what we want in life, jobs, cars, you name it. These women are showing this predatory nature if they find you attractive they go after what they want, it is of little consequence, the fact that you are married or have children...to them. Remember, in the past it was something many single men did when they went after obviously attached women...

Sounds like you look like a very approachable guy and women feel comfortable flirting with you. If you are approached by a woman who seems to be agressively flirting simply mention your wife in conversation or as you are walking away..(e.g...nice meeting you but my wife is waiting in the car)

I think it is the motherly instinct in women when they see a man with his children it is warming to see.
I don't think they are hitting on you.
I have seen this happen many times.

Unless I am going to see someone I am interested in, I low key my appearance-because its easier than saying back off.
and most important for your family to have a common ground to stand on that no one can move=think of the future too even in appearance if you dont keep em backed off - "In marriage the bed is undefiled, but the others will be judged." Hebrews 13 in that chapter is also the promise once we let Jesus into our heart "I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee." verse 5
this is what got me self control=I have had the best of everything in life (I thought) till I came to Jesus and learned the joy of life, in salvation and renewal, praying for you, -and I am just a messenger in Jesus amazing grace (John 3rd chapter) repented of my sins, even one lie and let Jesus in to help and be my friend-and if you wont listen to Jesus-please understand there is nothing I can do to help thee prince. it sure worked for me, =Jesus is the one to comfort you and to give you help to commit in a relationship, in Jesus amazing grace, John 3rd chapter repented of my sins,even one lie, and let Jesus in to be my friend, amen.
I am praying for you, David -if you carry a bible and have on a wedding band only the worst of the worst will hit on you-and those are easy to dismiss.
