Graduate refers to the tier of study above a first degree (or undergraduate)

Tier 1: Undergradaute - BA,BSc, BTech etc

Tier 2: Taught postgraduate: MA, MSc, MTh, MBA etc.

Tier 3: Research postgraduate: MPhil, PhD, EdD etc.
