... great football skill but terrible sportsmanship in the U-20 match today? They deserved to win the game but they also deserved to be taken out back behind the toolshed and taught some manners.

They were rolling all over the pitch like a bunch of whiny little *******.

They wouldn't get away with that in a real sport like rugby or hockey.

The Chileans DID deserve to win the game. I admit that. Its just annoying that they also know how to play the roll around on the grass until you frustrate the other team game. We don't know how to play that game in Canada either.

I think the referee forgot that under FIFA rules you're supposed to give yellow cards for simulating fouls as well as hard tackles.

OK point taken, the Chileans did display some artistry with the ball and some of my comments were from frustration but its just not our way...

The Chileans were great, but their sportsmanship wasn't all that bad. Canada got FOUR yellow cards... that says something.

A real sport like rugby or hockey? lmfao. HAHA. Okay then buddy. Don't be jealous that your team can't be the best at this, they need more experience.

What? I saw some Canadian player try to get a penalty in the box when it was clearly not a penalty. Sure, Canadians play a clean game especially compared to most of the world but that's also because it's just not in their style, they play like Americans.. fast and without technical ability. Although Canada has more of a European flair then the Americans.

They have a long way to go. This is a good step for them. Canada's keeper is amazing, and their wingers aren't bad. They just need to work on getting it to their wingers and getting it to their striker for shots, they had ONE shot on target.. that's bad! Chile had like.. 14? Canada's defense sucks btw, their keeper is the only good thing there.

Chile is just amazing though, they really are damn good. You can't blame Canada... well, you can but whatever.

I agree with you. I expected the match to be closer but I watched the game and Chile did deserve the win. Canada reminds me of the U.S. team in the '90s but I'm sure they'll be a growing giant in some years (may I need to say that they played a great Gold Cup). Chile's U-20 team can go very far in the World Cup. Watch out for Arturo Vidal (whom just signed a contract with Bayer Leverkusen) and Nicolas Medina.
