Cool, Solarius! I have two minpins, as well! (That's why I think it is so funny about the Lab...he's the biggest, but he's the wussiest!)

I don't have dogs now,but I did at one time. I had a dachshund that tried to jump in the oven to get away from the fireworks. He also dug a whole in the corner of the closet trying to hide from the sound. Poor thing. All the dogs I have had just hated this season. We used to go to the vets to get sedatives to calm them down.

Yes. And it is so sad. She hides under the coffee table at night and shakes. Most dogs are afraid of fireworks, supposedly they can hear a high-pitched sound we can't and I guess it freaks them out. Even some hunting dogs can't stand fireworks.

Yeah. The fireworks can scare my Miniature Pinschers, especially the one that's also afraid of thunder. Poor things. They'll be glad when the fireworks stop.

Ha ha! I have a black lab/ German Shepard mix that hates fireworks; she gets all shaky and whiny. She does the same thing with thunder.

Our dogs freak out too....and we are close to where they were doing them last night. They barked and acted all silly the entire time. We have a chihuahua and a border collie mix and they are both sissies too!

Nope, fortunatley. It's not the 4th yet so we don't have many fireworks. We had some the night before though
