They have no reason to attack Turkey, yet but soon Turkey could become a much needed strategic position.

Turkey is a member of NATO, as is Greece (I don't know what the cast of "greease" has to do with this). So if Russia were to attack then the US and the rest of NATO would be at war with Russia.
