The acorns are packed all the way to the top of the pipe. The pipe is to small for a vacuum cleaner and the overall length is about 15'. How can I get them out?

This vent pipe is for the sinks, and tub in the cabin. This place was built in 1965.

Not sure if you mean the vent pipe from your toilet/sewer, or your furnace vent pipe. But if it is the sewer one, the plumbing guy told me to just run your garden hose down there until everything washes down through into the sewage. You will have to probably remove some of the top ones by hand, then maybe also get a long stick or the like and jab it down there. If it fails, I am sure to hire someone wouldn't be all to costly.

I would try using a shop vac ; they have much more powerful suction than a regular vacuum cleaner does. You will have to get them out several at a time. I imagine squirrels are the culprits here, After you get them out I would put some kind of hardware cloth over the vent pipe. Can you reach the pipe from below where the furnace is and blow them out with a shop vac?
If that pipe is to your furnace you can be getting dangerous fumes backing up into your house this winter.

We had a similar problem and ended up using long tongs like you would use for a barbecue. It took a while but it worked. Good luck.
