Because it causes mildew, which stains the clothes and can ruin the floor.
Take care of the clothes and home you have or pay for your own.

That's really disgusting. Trust me, I'm not the model of tidiness, but if you're going to throw clothes around, throw your dirty (dry) clothes on your bed in your room.

Why are your clothes wet anyway? Sounds like this has happened repeatedly. Wring your clothes out & hang them up to dry, then put them in the laundry basket.

Wet clothes especailly when left for a period of time become mustey and moldy. It creates a very disgusting mess and it is hard to get the smell out when you wash.

Plus it's just a sign of laziness and disrespect. Pick up after yourself!

They need to be hung up in the bathroom to help them dry quicker until they can get washed properly. Also, it helps keep the floor/carpet dry, to help prevent possible mold/mildew. Take care

I'm guessing she has told you more than one time?
She's angry because you don't respect her enough to do as you are told.

It's very frustrating to tell a kid once, twice, many times the same thing over and over.

Listen to her. It's the least you can do.

Wet clothes start to stink. They start growing mildew.

They will mildew and they have a odor that will travel through the house. Once your clothing mildews you won't be able to wear them. It doesn't takes long to mildew.

Because they will get all mildewy and moldy and can make the floor get mildewy and moldy too.!!!
