The car is honking non-stop when engine warms up (and horn relay in place) . I removed the horn relay and it stops!!Is it a connection problem?Can you help?

I have just replaced my horn relay (1 month ago). Maybe it was a bad relay when I bought it!? How do you check if the horn is stack on the steering whl?

Possibly also a wiring problem, removing the relay disconnects the horn, not proving 100% on relay troubles. i would look around a bit before spending money on a new relay, they can be spendy depending on car, and may not fix problem, but more than likely relay.

After the relay warms up unplug the wires and check the relay with an ohm meter. It should be normally open. Also, the horn button sends to ground so it is possible the wire between the button and relay may be grounding.

Try new horn relay.

sounds like your relay makes contact when it gets warm

the relay would be the easiest and cheapest, if it still does it its in your steering wheel

make sure that the horn on the steering wheel is not stuck on first.
