The name Kaitlyn is a cute name, but if you call yourself Kaitlyn, are you going to be dressing like Kaitlyn? If you're going to start calling yourself Kaitlyn, it think you should start dressing like Kaitlyn too.

Well guess the would depend on whether you are M or F. Joe as in short for Joanne? Jody? Jolene? etc. Kaitlyn usually get dubbed with Katie, Kate Kay or Lyn so be sure you like the short version of that name before you change it cuz you are bound to get it shortened by someone at somepoint! You remind me of my oldest girl when she was young, she came home from school and declared to the world " I am not Jenny anymore I am now Beverly" lol(that lasted about a week LOL)

Well I can understand not liking the name Joe if you are a girl. I only know one girl w/ the name Joe. So if you are uncomfortable w/ your name then yeah, do it. Whatever makes you happy. Unless you are a boy but I'm just assuming you are a girl wanting to change your name to Kaitlyn.
Ok nvm then, since you are a boy I wouldn't suggest changing you name to Kaitlyn since it is a girl's name and you probably would be made fun of a lot. You can change it to something like Chris or Alex or Jamie or something which is a name for both girls and boys.

Why not call yourself what you want to. In any case name change their gender from time to time so it does not matter
