You need to go ahead and have the surgery and have the testicle brought down and put in place. You can function fine with one and produce plenty of sperm etc. but the undescended one will cause health problems later. When the doctor goes in he will locate the testicle and if healthy and normal will bring it down into the scrotum you will be sore for about two weeks and then normal in every way. If the testicle is deformed or not functional the Dr. will remove it. You should ask him to put in a fake one that matches the goodd testicle. They do that. One testicle works fine No one wiill be ABLE to tell you have a false testicle. Go see your urologist next week. Get this done. You will be fine.

You would be surprised about how common this is. It is nothing to be embarrassed about. The time frame your doctor gave you is an average, not an exact time frame. However, if you are concerned you should be re-examined, occasionally, for cosmetic reasons, a simple surgical procedure is done to release the testicle. This condition is does not effect your sexual or reproductive health. When dealt with in an open and honest manner with your doctor and sexual partners, it will not effect your social or psychological health either. Good luck. Call your doctor just for some peace of mind.

You should consult your doctor if you are still worried... eventually it will have to be delt with if it doesn't decend... having an undecended testicle puts you at a slightly higher risk for testicular cancer in the future... it's really common and it happens for no real reason. It's a pretty straight forward surgery and they can fix it. You can wait and see if it comes down on its own or you can talk to your parents and the doc and see what they suggest. If your family doc is unsure call the local urologist... they are specialists in that area! Good Luck and don't worry.

I used to spay and neuter ferrets on a ferret farm and that they too are companies to undescended testicles.(crypt orchid) i could might desire to then "spay" them, for all intents and applications. this means i could might desire to open them up as though they have been lady (lots greater invasive) and seem for the testicles. 9 cases out of ten, undescended testicles will additionally be smaller than generic and it may take a while to locate them. now and back there could be none in any respect! i could touch whoever you observed him from and ask them in the event that they have any documents of him being neutered. in the event that they are asserting he's, get a replica of the checklist. in the event that they are asserting they dont comprehend or no, get him to your vet to have it accomplished. If he does might desire to have surgical operation, you will be able to might desire to pay greater because it's going to be a much greater invasive surgical operation and your canine will might desire to have greater anesthesia to maintain him under for an prolonged volume of time than a prevalent neuter could require. he will even have sutures (some vets use epidermis glue) to be bumped off. good success !

if your testicle has not descended by this time, it probably will not. you can fire on one testicle....it will not affect your fertility...besides, why would your buds be looking to see how many you have anyway...it doesn;'t matter, but i guess psychologically it could make a difference...if you just gotta have 2 show, then ask your mom to make you an appt with a surgeon to pull the other one down and tack it into your scrotum, or outfit you with a prosthesis.
