You are misinformed. Partial birth abortions have always been illegal (unless you find a scummy doctor) after your first trimester (3 months/12 weeks). You can legally only have an abortion before that time period unless you have an extreme medical reason as to where it is life and death for the mother and or baby, then they will be forced to abort the baby.

I see that the liberals are out in force this evening. It is so typical of them to attempt to compare diametrically opposed issues. Partial birth abortion has nothing to do with Iraq, but then again, they have nothing else to hang their hats on. Yes, Bush did a wonderful thing by banning partial birth abortions - Clinton was pandering to the far left by not doing so. Life begins at conception, this is a fact.

Bush gets paid from those religious organizations. Don't think for a minute that he is anymore innocent than Clinton. I'm glad he did it, but really, the dude didn't do it bc it was the right thing.

that's greater of a spiritual question, like do you help killing an harmless infant or the mothers life is in jeopardy so if she does not abort she will have the means to die. Theirs no perfect answer (or question) and no a hundred%, theirs consistently a what if, and it does ensue. human beings choose take a reliable verify out the two aspects. Oh, ya Blair is a PM, no longer a president, yet reliable answer.

Wow! What a food fight we're having here, folks!

Truth is, partial birth abortions are so rare. But in principle I agree with Bush on this issue. He's wrong on embryonic stem cell research, though.

1000's of children will see a life in which they will be unloved, starve and abused. This makes Bush a good person? Oh I forgot, a good person offers his daughters to thugs for a gang bang and then sleeps with them himself.

I'm sorry Bush is such a disappointment to you. He's a disappointment to me too.Don't compare Bush to Clinton to try and make yourself feel better. Bush just doesn't measure up.

fetuses aren't babies...that's why we call them fetuses.

Furthermore, there are VERY VERY few partial birth abortions performed.

This bill was merely a way of whittling down abortion laws so that right wing Christian religious dogma can be imposed on free citizens of America.

Don't fall for these lies about abortion.

The American people have voted in polls time and time again that they, the distinct majority, do NOT want abortion made illegal.

Get it?

Are you surprised that Slick Willie is pro abortion? I'll bet he has paid for quite a few.
