I want to say this in a way that is,nt disrespectful so hopefully i wont upset you. The thing i don't understand is. If a baby dies before it can think independently and walk etc. then would,nt its energy just remain exactly where it was when it passed. How would it know it had passed? I would love to believe that it is collected, or even reincarnated as a new baby but then people claim to hear baby's crying in haunted locations. So how is that possible. Its not something i like to think about too long. Im my mind they return as new Born's and get another chance at life. Its the only thing that sits comfortable with me personally. Stay strong. The grief will pass with time.

Hi Nani, It has been said that babies and children can see spirits because they have innocence and youth. Spirits seek out the ones that would be less harmful or the most vulnerable. Adults can be skeptical and non believers to where children or babies don't have the capability to believe or not. They just see what they observe without fear unless the spirit is harmful and is angered. Hope this has helped. Have a blessed day.

Personally: I happen to think babies can and do see spirits and angels. They can also sense when the parent has an evil spirit on them (for example when my eldest son was less than a year old I went shopping with my girlfriend and she offered me pot, I figured I hadn't smoked pot since I was 15 so just this once wouldn't hurt, when I came home that evening I did my normal routine, made dinner and tried to give my son his bath. He wouldn't let me hold him. Every time I tried to comfort him he screamed like I was hurting him. I told my husband he would have to take care of the baby bath that night. It brings me to tears even today 11 yrs later over the way he reacted to me.
Anyway hope this answers your question.

Both animals and children are supposed to be able to see spirits. There is a great deal of literature on it.

Sometimes children will know before anyone else when a relative is dead, or dogs will howl at the same time as someone dies. Children often carry on conversations with long dead relatives that they couldn't possibly know about and babies seem to have invisable play friends with whom to while away the hours. As long as it not frightening to the child, I wouldn't worry about it, but you might have them hang some religious icon of their faith in or near the crib (Safely) if the parents are upset about this...

Do not be alarmed. Children, defined by their innocence, can see the angels that are guarding them. Angels are around people all the time. All your life. But in most humans, only babies can see and play with them. Usually it maybe "infant" angels. It is a beautiful thing.

My niece did the same thing. She would look off into a corner kind of towards the ceiling and she would smile and laugh. Whatever it was that she saw entertained her for hours. It really does make sense though.

Babies are so impressionable. Their minds aren't blocked like adults tend to be. They haven't learned what is "impossible" yet.

I believe that they can because my mom told me that when I was 2,my grandfather was in the hospital and wasn't doing too good. One day she was sitting in her room and I saw her crying. I asked her what was the matter and she said she was worried that my grandpa wasn't going to make it. She has this picture of Jesus and the virgin mary next to her bed and she said that I I said, "let me ask Jesus," then I stood up and stayed staring at the picture. Then I told her, "you're right mommy grandpa's not going to make it." A couple of days later he passed away. I don't remember this, but I'm sure I did talk to Jesus because they say they that since children are so innocent they are given the ability to see things that adults can not.

Of course not! The child must be fascinated by something and starts smiling. Only the religious ones see spirits.

isnt that so weird, i see me nephew and he will walk into an epty hall and put up his arms and look around and mile or laugh.. i def think they do have a 6th sense about things, but they do not no the difference so it doesnt scare them. i think cats are the same exact way, the way they stare at nothing and slowly move their head or randomly get scarred..

That is what I have always been told. Whether there is something or not who knows. I think it is wonderful to think they can see angels or some friendly spirit from heaven.
