Hey everyone, I just found out last week I am pregnant, took 3 pregnancy test to make sure, all positive. I will be 5 weeks tomorrow. Why do I already feel so miserable, I cant walk up a flight of stairs without feeling like I just ran the LA Marathon, I cant stand up for five minutes outside in the heat without feeling like I want to puke, and I swear everytime I stand up I am going to pass out after seeing black dots everywhere. My husband is trying so hard to put up with me, I dont want our pregnancy to be bad a bad experience for him or me. I started having pregnancy symptmoms a week after conception, burping every 5 minutes with a little acid that came up with it, flatulence like crazy. What can be wrong with me, Im only a month pregnant and already feel as if I wont be able to go through eight more m onths of this. This is suppose to be happy time for me.

oh hon...this is perfectly normal. although a HUGE drag!
it will pass...but the first 3 months are just horrible. and in this summer heat, it just makes it worse.
don't stand up quickly, think slow-motion! take your time sitting up in bed, or standing from a sitting position.
poor circulation causes dizziness, and the 'black dots'.
try to get a nap in during the day if you can..exhaustion is a symptom of early pregnancy too, and the best thing is to just give in..and take a cat nap! you'll feel better for it.

get the book "What to expect when you're expecting" it's FULL of answers! I've used it will ALL my pregnancies.

Your one of the lucky ones! Morning sickness! I had that for 4 months straight.. all the same symptoms.. It's just called morning sickness but it can actually happen ne time of the day and just isn't all about puking.. Your just going through the normal symptoms of the first trimester.. Once you hit the second trimester you will feel so much better and won't be able to stop eating!
I'm 32 weeks along right now and am enjoying every movement and moment i am pregnant. The first 4 months were hell but it all turns out to be well worth it at the end!

Right now you're just experiencing many of the joys of the first trimester. It gets better, trust me (although maybe not before it gets worse...). My first trimester was one of the most miserable times of both mine and my hubands lives. I was tired, sick, uncomfortable, emotional, b*tchy, and just an all around horrible person to be around. It has gotten SO much better, though. I am finally in the second trimester and I feel like an entirely different person. I have energy, I can eat, my breasts don't hurt nearly as bad (although they're HUGE!). I'm still pretty emotional and terribly hormonal, but I feel great. Good luck and congratulations! Just think about the wonderful gift you're going to receive after all of this is over;).

your body is trying to adjust to the change in hormone levels that continues to rise for the first 3 months, then tend to level off, that's why you feel so tired and sick, most pregnant women can tell you that heat and pregnancy do not mix, with the increase of blood levels in your body we can over heat very quickly, when i feel like i`m going pass out because of the heat, i try to hurry to a sink and run cold water all over my face and drink a glass of cool water to cool my body down, if not i will puke and feel like i`m just dying!! so stay hydrated and get lots of sleep by the second trimester your symptoms should ease up some and you will get most of your energy back.

don't worry it will get better at least I heard it will
but I am 10 wks
I am hoping that since the people tha thave morning sickness
get better after the first trimester
so Good luck & hang in there
by the way Congrats

You and your body are going through a rough time right now and all these little things that are happening will end up being a thing to laugh about in the future, trust me on this. Make the best of it and make a joke out of all of it and share it with your husband, sure he will understand especially the flatulence we men are professionals.

I'm in my third trimester now and I have to tell u 4 my 2nd pregnancy, my 1st trimester was BAD! My best advice is to get nausea meds from your doc, I waited to long and got dehydrated and spent an evening in the hospital, dont let this hapen to you, get some meds youre baby will be fine and if they dont work get stronger ones until they do. Honestly sometimes u just have 2 b pushy, u will thank yourself later.

The first trimester is always the worst. Eat crackers before you get up each morning. It will go away but it may be 6-8 weeks before it does. Hang in there.

The same thing happened to tons of woman. I was so sick the 1st 3 months, I couldn't get out of bed without having to run to the bathroom. The smell of about anything made me sick as well. All I did was sleep. Try to drink as much water as you can, I had trouble with that. I sucked on ice. Talk to your doctor when you go in and see what he/she can do. Mine told me to try vit. B1. I toke it in the morning and it did help with the morning sickness plus gave me some energy. Also remember you aren't the only one. That helped me.

Try doing this relax and don't worry about anything and let you husband care for you that is his job for the next 8 mos. any stress you put on yourself will harm the baby. This part is the hard part it is transition time of your pregnancy it will pass soon.
