If I kept it, I'd never be able to look at myself in the mirror again.

I would turn it in, because 12 grand in an envelope is either drug money or something else illegal and people kill for that kind of thing, and someone was watching where that money went, even if you didn't see them, at least if you turn it in then if no one claims it, it can become yours, if it has not been tied in to a crime

I would most definitely want to keep it, but then I wouldn't be able to sleep at night or look myself in the face in the mirror, cause I know the right thing to do would be to turn it in, so thats the choice I would make to begin with.

As much as I would want to keep it, I would have to turn it in to the police. I wouldn't trust the people at the place where I found it.

I would turn it in. I can't take something that doesn't belong to me.
If I'm lucky, there will either be a reward or I'll get the money after a certain period of time if nobody claims it.

Turn it in or even run an ad in the paper...that is a lot of money for someone to lose and its quite possible the money could be fake as well.

The right thing to do is turn it into the police, but I would probably keep the money. I would check if they were real first and not counterfeit.

thats a good question. i would turn it in. i honestly could never live with myself if i took that much money. some one would be really disappointed if they lost that, id want some one to turn it in if it was mine. if no one claims it i heard that sometimes for being honest the police will call you and give it to you!!!
:D
what would you do?

I AM honest - so of course I would turn in the $2,000.00 I found! Honesty is always the best policy! YES, $2,000.00 - you must have mis-counted!
