Un-tint them for starters. You might want to take the tint off ASAP before you get stopped again for the same reason. The fine might be up to $100; the fine and court costs.
p.s.
Don't listen to Crystal, like you have money to burn to get a lawyer. What does she know?

If you don't remove the tint, you will continue to get tickets. Eventually this can lead to bigger trouble. A fix it ticket is when you correct the reason you were ticketed and the judge lets you off without repercussions. My advice, check the local laws (some areas allow tint on the back windows but not on the front) and get rid of the tint you were sighted for.

A lawyer won't help with the ticket, and will charge more that the fine. Step one is un-tint the windows. If you don't, you will get another ticket. suing whoever tinted the windows is unlikely to help. Tinting that is illegal in one location may not be in another. They WILL claim they were not aware of the rules in YOUR location.

You have two separate problems -- the ticket and the windows. Get yourself a lawyer on the ticket unless you don't mind paying it and can afford the points on your license. And check your paperwork on the window tinting -- if the place that sold them to you assured you they did not violate the tint laws, you might be able to get them to fix it, return your money, and/or pay for your ticket lawyer. They should not have sold you something illegal. Don't ignore either. You will get another ticket if you keep the windows.
Personal opinion, not legal advice.

If you can't see in the window, there to dark. Only the front and front driver and passenger windows are against the law if they are to dark. The factory would not install illegal windows. It is a fix it ticket, such as a broken tail light. You may need to have an officer sign off on it before going to court.

If they were factory installed You could sue the manufacturer but if not all you can do is remove them and pay the fines. You could go after whoever sold them to You knowing they are against the law but the legal actions will cost more than the fine.

it might be just a fix it ticket and if you fix it, have it signed off and pay a small fine you won't get points on your record. In orange county, Calif. they will send you a letter telling you the fine or you could call the courthouse. It might say on your ticket if it is a fix it ticket or not.
