Yeah, especially in here.... WTF people. Haven't you ever typed something wrong??? As long as you can convey your point to someone else does it really matter how it's spelled??? You do understand what they're trying to say right??? That's the point... Getting it across to the other person....If you're such a stickler for grammar and spelling go to that other area where people have their dictionaries out all the time... I like the folks in here. They are real.....

Yes, I think there's a place and a time for it....LIKE SCHOOL! I'm new here and when I see that someone has misspelled something or didn't use correct punctuation, my first response isn't to correct them...it's to answer the question asked. These poor people have these jerks answering the question with...."if i understood what you said, maybe I could help you...." Don't be such a dick and just answer the damn question..I think to myself. Yeah, its pretty annoying. Like, get a life, we are not being graded here...YA! isn't giving us some corporate position based on our grammar, or a $10 bucks for everyone person we correct.....it's just a fun place to meet people and to get informative feedback.

I used to HATE it. My mom was an English teacher and she corrected my grammer from the time I started speaking. I just finished law school and now realize that I was so fortunate to have a mother who cared enough to correct me. Whether we like it or not we are judged on our grammer. You can easily distinguish between people based on this trait. I know when I speak to a client they have far greater faith in me because I can speak well. Them's the breaks I guess.

I used to work with little kids, so now I have the habit of correcting everyone's grammar and getting my friends to use complete sentences at all times.
I'm trying to stop... but it's hard.

Yes,no one is perfect, so unless asked people shouldn't criticize.I do hate it,people usually do it to make themselves feel better.I just role my eyes and give em' a "whatever".

I know they are trying to help but the way they do it and patronizing at that for some people can be irritating and I lose my temper when it is kept up.
