It could be many things..bad pressure switch, bad compressor, the air flap in the dash isnt moving from hot to cold, a bad fuse, listen to see if u hear click when the ac goes on and if the low pressure line(the one on the firewall) is cold or not when it is turned on

ok to start off did you use the right freon also did u evac the system so you did not release anything in to the air which if you got caught or some one called on you you could be fine cause you are not allowed to charge the system.you need to take the car into a cert ASE shop that can check and test your system.cause if you put in the wrong freon you just ruined your ac system .also anti freeze has nothing to do with the ac

It`s because you did not take it to a shop, where they will fix the reason it leaked out in the first place, and Put the correct amount of new refrigerant back into it.
AC lasts forever if there is no leak in the system, it isn`t "consumed" over the course of time and then need to be refilled, it does not work that way.

Is the blower fan running? Do you get any air out of the AC vents in the dashboard?
Take it in and have a mechanic check it out for you.

No offense, but how do you know the refrigerant is in properly? Overfilling will cause the same problems as too little.
