I constantly check out clothes when I go to stores. For example, I think girls have some really cool clothes at Hollister. And I imagined that being a girl would be cool because of all of the cool clothes they get to wear. I sometimes check out guys and think they are good looking and sometimes I look at the crotch area. But I still check out girls too and I think girls are hot.

I am a teenager, and I guess I like fashion a bit, but I am not crazy for it. I want a girlfriend, but not until I am a bit older, like a senior or something. But is it normal for a teen to be like this? I don't fantasize about having sex with guys, I just compare myself to guys I think are good looking. Any help with this? If anything I am almost always having dreams about women, if that helps.

Well, your really not anything.. I say your straight.. guys at your age are kinda odd..going through changes and things that you don't know about. Understand the fact that just because you check guys out doesn't mean your gay//bi. Just means your curious. Gay or BI is a natural thing.. don't let these feelings turn you over to that sexual instinct.. let it come natural, if it's even ment to take hold. Let IT come to you, keep doing what you've been doing, maybe it will pass, maybe not. Just let it go and live on. Gay or BI isn't gross or disgusting as most people would put. It's just a sexual conflict within someones mind. But hey..I'm a girl and yet I check other girls out..but I'm definatly NOT gay or bi.. Hope this info helped buddy :)

If you don't fantasize about having sex with guys, why would you think you are bi or gay?
You also said you are "almost always having dreams about women" What are you dreaming about the other times?
You sound a little confused but that's normal at your age. Time will answer all your questions. Just be patient.

I'm sure that you are neither gay nor bi. It's just that you've reached the age where you like to explore more and your curiosity sometimes takes you farther than you intend to go. Take me, for example, I find myself looking more than i should at someone the same sex as i but i feel no attraction to them, just wonders. Comparing yourself to another good looking guy is not really gay, just self-consciousness. And wondering what it would be like to be a girl and thinking their clothes are cool is fine as well. It's just another sign of curiosity. As a matter of fact, I find myself doing the same thing as well with guy stuff. So just relax and don't think about it too much. You might end up either one of those. lol. JK!

I've asked my boyfriend what he thinks, and he says that you are not gay. He told me that most guys make comparisons between themselves and other guys, and it's nothing to be ashamed of. It's normal, so no worries. You would be gay if you fantasized sexual experiences with other men. But, if you only fantasize about women in this manner, then you are heterosexual. There is nothing to be ashamed of if you do find yourself sexually attracted to other men... but it doesn't sound like you are. If you like fashion, that might just mean you are artsy and have good taste (aka Metro-sexual) Girls love this!!!! Guys that can dress are pretty cool to tell you the truth. Myabe it means you are more sophisticated as well. I wouldn't worry; just see where your feelings take you over the next few years.

Good Luck! and from a just-graduated highschool senior... make sure to keep your grades up so you can go to a good college for free, make a lot of money, and buy all the cool clothes you want ;).

If you were gay , you would know it by now. It sounds to me that you may be bi. This a very confusing stage in your life; everyone goes through it, and keep in mind that most people are bi-sexual to different degrees, so if you are, then that is it.

Showing some signs of interest in girls clothes means nothing. The vast majority of transvestites are HETEROSEXUAL.

But the main things to keep in mind just now, is to concentrate on your studies in school, be all that go can be, and most of all STAY OFF DRUGS. If you do these three little things, you will have a happy, successful life. Gay, bi or straight. Best of luck.

I really don't think the interest in fashion has anything to do with being gay. This is simply a stereotype. Sexual orientation is defined by WHO you are attracted to, who you fantasize about, and who you think is sexy. If you're a teenager, then I'm pretty sure your sexual orientation is still developing, and there's really no need to put a label on it unless who want to. Just be open-minded, pay attention to where your thoughts go, and feel free to be yourself. Good luck!

OK first off, this:
"I sometimes check out guys and think they are good looking and sometimes I look at the crotch area. But I still check out girls too and I think girls are hot. "
"I don't fantasize about having sex with guys"
"I am almost always having dreams about women, if that helps."
...is all we need to know

Its sounds like you're kinda bi, or possibly straight

Based on what you've written, you sound perfectly straight and (more importantly) normal to me. There is absolutely nothing wrong with being gay, and it's far too early for you to be assigning labels to yourself at this stage anyway. Give yourself a break and enjoy what you enjoy. Why put all this pressure on yourself to conform to a label?

For those who really are questioning their sexuality, I do have a gay test, I have put it in under "source" FYI.

I wouldn't say that you are gay. It sounds to me like it's just a phae your going through, comparing yourself to other guys. The fashion thing is that you just have good taste and style. Don't worry about this too much! It will pass.
