Asians in America tend to vote Democrat although I'm not sure if they are as liberal as most Democrats. Remember that Asians are a minority in the US and the significant majority of all minorities are Democrat. Congresswoman Mazie Hirono, Senator Daniel Inouye, Senator Daniel Akaka are all Asian-Democrats but all from Hawaii! Also Congresswoman Doris Matsui from California is another Asian-Democrat.

Asian Americans generally have a Democratic preference, although they don't vote in large numbers. According to exit polls, Kerry carried this group by 12% in 2004.

I heard that most Asians are conservative, this going back to their Asian roots, but at the same time usually live in highly democratic areas so their vote doesn't carry as much weight as it should. I read an article a year or two ago about politicians in LA specifically dividing up district lines to split the Korean vote so that it wouldn't be such an issue for democratic politicians.

I was not aware that race creed or color had any bearing on intellect, I would surmise that they vote with a secrete ballot like every one else.....
