They sign up as your fan - even if you don't contact them back, they still get access to your questions and answers. (I have tried this myself to see if it works).
The only way to stop them is to block them - if you know who it is.

That's a good question. Is it just your "about me" page that is private? When you post a question, does it show up on the public page? The only way that I know of to block someone from answering your questions is to actually block him/her. I suppose where there's a will, there's a way and these "stalkers" seem to have enough time on there hands to figure out a way around the safeguards. I'm sorry, I wish I could offer you a solution. :^(

If you block them they can't answer but eventhough your questions are private they can still be seen when posted it's just that the other person cannot view your questions under your profile...did i make any sense at all lol....i have blocked a bunch of people no fun, but it's neccessary.

If they are on Yahoo Answers when they are posted, or they specifically go thru and look for things with your avatar, a time consuming process. I am guessing that will be how my personal thumbs down buddy will do it now that I have blocked her, or maybe she just makes another account.
Then they magically have access to all your stuff.
